Ladies and gentlemen, Opponauts all. I welcome you to the official unofficial Tesla Model 3 Launch live thread!

(Yes, I know it’s a bit early, but I’m excited. More on that below)

In full honesty, I’ve been looking forward to this all day, to the point of being ashamed of it. I am a huge geek, and Tesla is the epitome of modern technology, which it combines with cars! Win win!

As I said, I’m pumped, so pumped I created a countdown:

So Oppo, what are your expectations for this evening? What do you hope to see out of the Model 3? Would you consider purchasing one? Will they take over the world some day? Is Musk a genius or madman?

I hope it’s ugly and sucks only so that I don’t have to break my golden rule about buying cars.

Although it’ll probably be awesome and we’ll pick up a 2018 model. Dammit. :)

Love the S, think the X looks horrible, curiously awaiting the 3/E.

We can like both sides! I enjoy seeing our most advanced technology in a car. Also, who ever said we can’t like sedans? I thought we liked the Model S?

I bet, now don’t quote me on this, but I bet, Elon will shock the world and debut the Model 3 with VTEC and boso pipes
